Our trip down this time we are planning on "trying" Universal and/or Islands of Adventure. Is it possible to do these parks in 1 day?

We don't plan on riding the roller coasters, as we have 4 yo's and we're going at a somewhat off peak season (May). thanks!:)

It's possible but not the best idea. 4 year old kids can't keep up with adults. You end up "dragging" them around, even if they are in strollers. Plus they'll probably go to sleep in the afternoon or get cranky.

I'd buy a two day ticket and drive up two seperate mornings arriving early.

Each park has play ground areas for the kids. It doesn't matter which one you choose. Once the kids get in the play grounds they'll stay for 2 hours. Bring a change of cloths because they'll get soaked.

Thanks, I'm not at all familiar with either park and we're not what anyone would call "park commandos." I just noticed on their website that they have a discounted 1 day/2 park ticket, and thought I might be able to take advantage of it. We'll just do the 2 day and see everything at our leisure.

thanks again.

HI there,
DH and I did Universal and Islands of Adventure in the same day. Admittedly we don't have any children, but we really didn't like them that much. Rides were exciting but the experience just isn't of the same standard as WDW.

What I do love is Sea World... the shows are great and you get to pet the dolphins etc... why don't you go there instead?
