Has anyone had any experience with this? We've been to universal many times, but not with me in a WC. I'm doing a yard sale the day before we go, so I'll probably need the chair. It's a manual one, so was just wondering what all they do for people in chairs. There will be at least 6 of us going, not sure if the family is gonna go or not yet....we'll see.

You will do fine there - it’s a long way from the parking area, even the handicapped parking spots, to the actual park, so it’s good you have your own chair.

Most of their lines are accessible and they have arrangements for those that are not.
If you go to post #9 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread, you will find a link to the Universal disability information page and also a link to download a copy of the Universal Rider’s Guide, which details a little more about the rides themselves.

I was pushing my brother in the castle and the chains are black. The light is low light so you can't see any cross chains and you could get it in the neck. My brother almost got it.
There is a ramp like the ramp that goes to the train platform at mk. It goes back and forth three times to get to the entrance to the castle.
Hope this helps.

I did :)

Hurt my foot and had to do Universal, Epcot and MK in a wheelchair. It was fine. The only issue we ran into occasionally was some of the people at Universal were a little confused about where to direct us. Never had the slightest issue at Epcot and MK. It was all wonderful and did not spoil our trip in the least:goodvibes
