Universal Hotel discounts

Are there any kind of discounts for these hotels during Easter spring break (specifically April 1-8 2012). The rates are really high, and I looked into some (such as AAA) and they all seem to have blackout periods. Are we just out of luck. There don't seem as many as with Disney, but then again they have Harry Potter...

New to Universal, this will be our first time staying here instead of WDW. Looking forward to FOL since it will be during Spring Break!

There don't tend to be discounts during Easter spring break. The place is absolutely packed, so they don't need to offer discounts to get people to show up.

Compare the rates at the Universal hotels to any deluxe Disney hotel within walking or Monorail distance of the parks. That will give you an idea of your comparables. Universal hotels will be cheaper than these.
