I'm looking into adding a night to our wdw trip in early December to take my ds9 to the wizarding world of Harry potter (his fav!!) I have 2 questions
1) where can I get good discounted tix?
2) we would be going on a Monday. Is there crowd calendar info anywhere? Assuming early morning is best time to tour?
Thanks for any info, suggestions, or advice! It will be our first time there :)

1) discounted tix in Undercover tourist
2) in my experience, Sunday is the best day, on a monday try going either as soon as the park opens or in the evening.
Enyoy!

There are no discounts on single day tickets. Early December is a great time to go. Crowds are generally low and the weather is wonderful.

yep -early december is a good shout...or early november just after Halloween :)

Our AAA office has tix cheaper than Universal's website. Also I would recommend staying onsite at least 1 night. Your room key works like an unlimited fast pass so you can bypass the lines. It spoiled us instantly. :cloud9::cool1::woohoo:

Even with just 1 nt stay, you can check in early and if your room isn't ready, they'll store your luggage, give you your room keys, & call you when your room is ready. You get Express line access the day you check in and also the day you check out until park closing.

We love it and won't visit USO without an onsite room key!! :thumbsup2

I thought this didn't work for Harry Potter (which is the ride OP seems most interested in)

There is only 1 ride out of 3 in the HP area that doesn't have an Express line. Also onsite guests can enter the park 1 hr prior to the public.
I doubt people just go to HP then immediately leave the park. If you pay to enter, you might as well visit other attractions too. jmho.
