We wake up sad that this is our last day. Steve and I have a heck of a time trying to pack the suitcases, why do we have so much stuff?!!
I called the night before and asked for a late check out. Tiffany will be picking us up at 12:30, so they happily gave me a 1:00pm check out. I also went down to the business center at 7:30 when they opened and printed out boarding passes. It was supposed to be $10 for 15 minutes, but the girl working there said if I could do it in 5 she would only charge me $5
. They also charge $1 per printed page and I had to print 4, so this ended up costing me $9. It was worth it though, to not have to worry about getting in line to early at Southwest.
We have a quick breakfast as usual and head over to do Universal one last time. Again, we walk to the back of the park to do MIB. On the way, I take the classic Hollywood shot, I think it came out great - check it out!! We all do Ok on MIB, but not as good as previous times, even though we go on twice in row. The second time we sat on the left side, so we were all screwed up!!
We then went to the Kid Zone and did Fivel's Playland again. The kids love this and it gives Mom and Dad a chance to sit and relax. We also do ET again. On the way out of ET we catch Scooby and Shaggy all alone and have a nice talk with them, before they went out to greet everyone. We also caught Curious George and The Man with The Yellow hat, who we had missed last time. Attention Ladies!!!! The Man in the Yellow Hat is CUTE. I don't know if thinking that is wrong, but really, I had a bit of a crush. Check out the picture, I think he rivals some of the Ghostbusters - Sorry Flyfly, but I think you would like him too!
It is almost time to leave, but the kids want to do Jimmy Nuetron one more time. On the way out, we finally catch SpongeBob - Yeah!!!
Back to the pool for a half hour swim. This is great for the kids, and wouldn't be possible without the late checkout - thanks HRH!! While Steve and Chandler wait in the room for Bell Services, Tatum and I go to the HRH gift shop. She spots a kitty with HRH overalls, and I buy a pair of PJ shorts for myself. Chandler had already bought his daily action hero at US - he had a great time fighting with all his action heros and vilians.
Tiffany is right on time and I am tearful on the way to the airport. I try to keep it to myself, as Tatum has already been tearful about going home. I guess the boys are fine,
.
All in all, it was a fabulous trip, and I am sad to be home. We don't have another Universal trip planned and I don't know if we will anytime soon. Universal Orlando, is a great vacation option, and I have really fallen in love with it. The FOTL priveledge is incredible, and the hotels are fabulous. There is definately a kind of magic that goes on there, not Disney magic, but something even better. I hope you all enjoyed the reports - here a few photos from the last day. http://www.amazon.ofoto.com/ShareLa...t_signin=BrowsePhotos.jsp?showSlide=true&Ux=1
