My wife and I wanted to go to HHN for the first time, we were planning on going on Halloween night, we heard that actual Halloween night isn't to bad because all the kids are out trick or treating and teens are at parties or whatever. but this year it is on a Saturday, so what do you think?

is the express pass or whatever worth it, and how many sites are there to see, is 12 hours {2pm-close} enough time? any help and advice welcome and appreciated.

thanks

Last year Halloween was pretty dead (no pun intended), but with it being a Sat. this year I suspect it will be worse. HHN doesn't open at 2...do you mean you are going to be in the park during the day and stay for it? If so, you can "stay and scream," which will give you a head start on the houses before the people outside the gates get in. I tend to like the Express Pass as insurance myself.

sorry i thought it opened at 2, im military and florida resident so i think i get into the basic park {no hhn} for free one time.

as far as you think it will be worse? you mean like no one is there, we are just scared that we will get there and wait in 2 hour lines for the haunted houses.

I think worse as in more crowded this year just because of it being Sat. EP at least ensures you will see ALL the houses. Definitely use your freebie for the park and do Stay and Scream and you won't even have to use EP for the first few houses...then you can do those again later when it gets crowded.

i think we can judge what the crowds will be like for the end of the month after the second week of hhn.
