Universal from Disney

What is the best way to get to Universal from Disney? I would ideally be looking to leave the car as the wife and I would like a few drinks?

Is there any buses that you can get straight there, or is it a taxi job?

We used Mears shuttle buses, it was $16 return each. Disney Concierge booked for us the day before and they picked us up and others at the resort at about 9.00am(we could pick the time). we just phoned up 2 hours before for our return journey.

We brought the shuttle pass from Virgin. we got picked up by a mears cab in the morning but in the evening it was a coach. it stopped at loads of hotels taking over 1 hour 30 mins at the end of the day we just wanted to get back to the hotel-it was very frustrating. someone put a link on where you could work out the costs of the cab to different places, it was around $30.

We plan to take a cab next time to Universal

Im sure theres buses you can take, someone with more an idea will be able to help.

it was Seaworld that was aroung $30. Universal is just over $40-depends where youre staying though.

You can get the Lynx buses for $2.
Get on the Lynx 50 (TTC and DTD are the main stops, although there are others), ask for a transfer when you get on.
Get off at Sea World; catch the Lynx 8 from the same stop.
Get off at Wet 'n' Wild.
It's a ten minute walk from there.

Done it lots of times, never a problem
