Am trying to decide which tickets to get and wondering if the FOTL tickets for universal Hollywood are a good idea as we will be going to the park for 1 day between the 9th and 12th of August. I'm expecting this to be a busy time but would be grateful for any advice. Our other option is the GO LA card although I know they don't include FOTL tickets.

Any opinions would be great as I'm feeling a bit confused by all the different tickets. I could buy orlando park tickets in my sleep but the California options have left me at a loss as to what to buy for where and when!!!

Thanks guys.

I'm going to revive this thread because I have the same question, are the FOTL passes worth it? I know they are in Orlando, but there if you stay onsite at one of their 3 properties, than you automatically get it included, which we love. Ok, hopefully we'll get this answered this time!

It depends on when you are going, primarily. I have never bought them, but did stay onsite and get them free once. Currently the popular thing is harry potter, but you may still need a separate ticket to get into that area before you can use your fotl, so that has really annoyed some folks. Too crowded, so they are cutting off admittance to that area early. To me, it is not worth it, get there at opening and hit the big things and the others usually don't have lines overly long.

dsanner106, thanks for your reply, maybe I wasn't clear in my post. I wasn't asking about the Universal Studios @ Orlando, I was refering to the OP's post about Universal Hollywood. We are going this summer (end of May/into June) and I was saying that when we stayed onsite at Univ. Orlando, they automatically give you FOTL with your room key, but I wasn't sure if it is worth it to buy them in Hollywood because they don't have the onsite hotel option, and we wouldn't be staying there anyway, we will be based out of the Anaheim area. Thanks! ;)
