Universal first-timer: Two quick questions!

First, what is the easiest and quickest way to get to Universal from the airport and what are the tolls? Are the booths manned or do you need to have quarters ready?

Also, anywhere close by for a quick grocery stop before we get to Universal?

1. Come out of the airport and follow the signs for Orlando 528 (beeline expressway). Stay on the 528 for about 15 miles. Then follow the signs for I4 Orlando. Stay on the I4 for about 5 miles. Take the Universal exit and you are about a mile from the Universal resort.

2. Tolls on the 528 are 75c and 50c? There is two of them. They are manned and automatic.

There is an alternative route down Sand Lake Road, then onto Universal Boulevard. This by-passes the tolls and drops you straight onto Univseral Boulevard, but it's a more complex route.
