Universal Express unlimited

I hope they are still using the room key for our trip at the end of the month. I don't want another piece to carry. :thumbsup2

They should have done the photo on the room cards instead. Why waste more product when that's already in place.

They sell nifty lanyards with plastic zip-lock like bags on them (lanyards come in all different colors, designs, etc). I recommend this because your park ticket can be faced backward on one side and your room key can be faced forward on the other side and both can be scanned very easily. They will scan EVERYONE'S express pass/room key at the rides (most of them had scanners and every ride had an attendant who checked at the very beginning of the line.

The lanyards were only $7.95 and a worthy investment. I will use them at Disney too. They can be worn around the neck or come apart to be worn as a wristlet. :)

Will be in Orlando mid August. Love Universal and want to take a break from Disney and come stay a night. Does anyone know how early we can check in to take advantage of our Express Pass? Will it be good for both days of our 2 day tickets? And can we visit the other hotel pools, i.e. hard rock? And lastly, is the added meals worth it? Doesn't look like a lot of options?

you can check in anytime.
24 hours a day......

i have checked in at 6:30 - 7:00 am before.

the front desk is always manned.
check in and get your hotel key, have valet hold your belongings, then head to IOA for early entry to parry hotter.

the meal deal is not something that would be to your benefit if you are there only 1 night, 2 park days.

the program begins around 10:30 am and not breakfast is included.
the restaurants/cs does not honor the meal deal 30 minutes prior to park closing.

if the park has crowds, you will waste a lot of park time.
you go thru the line each time you order.

meaning, if you want more food at the place you are eating, you go thru the order and wait line again.

only 3 restaurants per park are included in the meal deal.

beverages not included.
there is a drink plan you can also buy.

And....YES..your one night stay will get you TWO days of express access at the parks.
