Universal Express questions

I will be staying at WDW, but we want to spend one day at IOA. We're going in April and I expect that the park will be pretty crowded.

I think I read somewhere that I can purchase a Universal Express pass. Does anyone know how much it costs? Would it be worth it on a crowded day?

I believe you purchase them at park, but I'm not positive. However they are only good for one day and they entitle you to front of line access on each ride only once.
