Universal Express Plus Passes

Just tried to book Universal Express Plus Passes for 27th August and when I got to the final stages it said the online service was unavaiable does anyone know if this is due to us being in the Uk. And also if it is likely that tickets will be left to buy for this date at the park entrance we plan to get their early and wanted to get the 2 park express plus option.

It should work fine if you're in the UK. Maybe the site has a glitch today? Try another site.

We ordered them from Universal's website - they're on their way as I type!

I agree with madmumof2 - probably a glitch. The site also didn't like my Opera browser so I used my Firefox to order them.

I tried with firefox browser which has been playin up all day ill try again using internet explorer. Did you choose fed ex option then?

Personally not something I would buy at that time of year, all US school children are back at school, its low season as you can see from the price, more expensive the passes are the busier they are expecting to be, that day is lowest they can get. Its a Wednesday, generally quieter than a weekend.
We go Xmas, Easter, August and October. without doubt the last week of our holidays in August is quietest of all the times we are there.
I would say they would be available at the gate, usually are when its quieter.

I will look into doing it at the gate then. What are the wait times like at Universal this time of year? I am used to the July crowds and Universal do have good themed ques for a lot of their rides so i think i may just try and use the standby lines if they are not to long.

i agree with wayne,dont bother buying as the normal wait times wont be bad

Yeah - in fact, they arrived yesterday along with my MNSSHP tickets I should point out though that the only reason I'm getting the express passes is because we're doing US and IOA in a single day and don't want to have to be there for rope drop. We want to squeeze it all into one day so we can spend the rest of our time at WDW (with one trip to Aquatica) It was worth the price to us just to make sure we'd get all our fave rides done wth minimal wait in the heat.

Yeah we will be going to rope drop and heading straight to IOA we should be able to get most of that done before the big que's start as our first ride will be Spiderman as I know what that gets like then we will head over to Universal and hopefully que times wont be that big but if not oh well we plan on staying all day and watching Dark Knight at City Walk after our meal.
