ive looked on the universal website, and you can purchase the express tickets for only certain times of the year (not sept when im going). can you still buy them at the parks at these times does anyone know? thanks:cheer2:

Many people over look this. Yes you can purchase them for any time of the year its actually all on the same page you just need to scroll down to the other price points. It can take a few minutes to figure out which price your date falls under but to my knowledge if you look hard enough you can find every day of the year covered somewhere on those pages.

You won't need express tickets in September. The kids are back in school and the parks are a ghost town in the morning. In the afternoon you may have 10-20 minute waits at the most. September 3rd is the holiday, locals may visit since most don't have work that Monday. But besides the holiday weekend, it's a great time to visit.

you deffinatly cant buy them on the website for sept, it says there are no dates avaliable. do you think it would be possible to do islands of adventure & universal in one day without an express pass? thanks

They do show on the website and like said above you must scroll down to read it.

September 1st is $35
September 2nd is $40
September 3-30 is $25

You seem to be very knowledgable on the subject of lines. I have a question- We are going to be in the parks sometime between Nov.25-Dec. 1
The parks close at 6pm We will be going at least 3 days out of 6. According to this time of year and the length of the lines- Would you reccommend buying the Express pass for $25 a day? We have never been and th eparks will close early, but if there are no lines......

I was there last year on the 1st and 2nd of December and most of the attractions were walk ons. The few with lines were very short except for the Mummy but that was because the ride was down most of the afternoon and when it finally was working everyone wanted to ride it all at once.

There is no savings for buying the express passes in advance the only reason to do so if there is a chance they will sell out. They can be purchased at several stores, guest services, and the ticket booths at the parks. Based on your dates I doubt you will need them and in the off chance that you decide when your there that the lines are longer then you thought they would be that you can just go and pick them up at that point.

That is exactly what I was hoping to hear. Not many lines!!!!!Yay!!!! I never thought of waiting till after we get there to purchase them. I am a planning freak! Thanks!

I agree with kenban. Your dates should be ideal for crowds, its right after the busy Thanksgiving crowd leaves. I hope you enjoy Universal. :)
