Universal Experts Please Clarify - Purses on Rides?

i am new to universal

what is the story with bags on rides am i not allowed to take a purse on rides? are there restrictions - could someone please explain the policy regarding purse/backpacks on rides

Yes the TM will make you get out of line to store your bags-purses into a locker.They are free for the first 45min-to a hour,depending on the ride.
Now on Popeyes they are not.It cost us a dollar for 1hr on that last time we rode.I don't know if thats changed,so if anyone rode it lately please tell us different.

To clarify, the rides that do not allow purses/bags have lockers near the RIDE entrance for use? We don't have to walk all the way to the PARK entrance to use a locker?

Required Lockers (no bags of any kind)
Hulk, Dragons, Forbidden Journey
MIB, Rockit, Mummy

Those 6 have free lockers near the entrance/exit of the ride and are free while you ride.

Optional Lockers ($3/hr) are available at:
Ripsaw Falls, Popeye & Blutos, Jurassic Park. These are also near the ride entrance. You are allowed to bring your bags on these rides, but they may get wet.

The lockers are near the ride entrances. If it turns out that there is a long line and they try to charge you for going overtime go get an attendant and get them to open it for you for free. We did that on HRRR, it wasn't our fault the line wasn't moving.

The lockers near the Popeye/Bluto barges charge money because you are allowed to take your purse on the ride. The money is to keep the stuff dry. A plastic bag in your purse will do the same thing for free. When you get to the barge stow your stuff in the plastic then put the bag in the center compartment.

I did wear one of these on The Mummy, no-one said anything about it. But on Hulk and DD I would leave it in the locker with sunglasses, suncream hats etc.

The lockers are conveniently placed at the rides concerned.
