We are a family of 4 going to Universal for 2 days for the first time this summer. We are staying onsite for one night and will have the express pass through our hotel. I'm wondering if I should link all of our park tickets to the Universal app on my phone? Or should each person link their own ticket on their own app/phone? And will we be able to put the express passes on the app as well? We would like to carry as little as possible. Any advice is appreciated.

The express pass is your hotel key. As far as linking anything, I have never done that for universal trips. I’m staying onside in 3 weeks with tickets/hotel and I didn’t link anything

If you have park to park passes it will be much easier to link the park tickets to each persons phone. That way if you divide up the rest of your family can still enter the other park if they want. If you have all the tickets on one phone they would need to have that to enter the other park.

So in order to link the park tickets to each persons phone, I would need to create a different account for each person including the kids (teens)? If so, is there a way to link all the accounts for charging privileges? I thought I saw that you can link a credit card to the app. Is that to make purchases in the parks?

Why bother with linking them to the phones. Just get everyone a lanyard and put the tickets and room keys in there.

The app can be glitchy, phones run out of juice, whatever, so you would have to carry the actual thing around anyway.

I don't do things that takes extra time or may cause me aggravation. We use lanyards and have never had a problem.

Anyone an expert on this? Can you link tickets on more than one phone? My niece doesn't have a phone and it's unclear which adult she might be with at any given time - so can we put her ticket on two separate accounts? Or just one account - but same login on two phones?
