I wonder if anyone can help.

We are off to Disney on Sunday, but have booked a Universal Hotel for the last three days. I have booked with an AP rate, which is in fact cheaper than booking the hotel without and then buying tickets (thanks Wayne).

However, when I go to purchase the AP, it says Fed Express delivery, which is no good due to timescales, or go to kiosk. Print at Home is not coming up as an option.

Can anyone tell me if there is a kiosk in the hotels, or will we have to go to the parks to get the pass printed out? It would appear that you use the credit card you have purcahsed the pass with and it gives you the ticket (similar to our cinemas).

I am just trying to think how I juggle it with turning up at the hotel and needing the pass already and whether we will have to go to the parks and get it there.

Many thanks

You cannot print an AP at home. Your only option would be, as it says, home delivery or will-call. You will need to go to guest services at the parks to pick your AP up but checking into the hotel shouldn't be a problem. Just let them know that you haven't actually collected your Annual Pass yet and they should be fine with you coming back to show it later. Otherwise, you could show them the confirmation Email that you have. Either way, I can't imagine oyu will have any issues - quite a few people do what you have done.

Thanks that makes me feel a bit happier.

I just dreaded turning up and being embarrassed that we didn't have the pass in our sticky hands!!

Didn't think about the confirmation.!!

I doubt they will even ask you for proof but as Joh says don't worry about it. The print out should do or you might be asked to go back and show it later but I have read so many posts saying they were never asked for it.

You can checkin, but will need to show them the AP before checkout, as it would be on your checkin that its to be showed, or they could charge you rack rate.

We were in Orlando for 3 weeks in August so high season. The longest queue I stood in was the queue to pick up my Universal tickets from outside the park. It was a total nightmare. They are so unprepared. We had booked one night at Hard Rock to take advantage of front of line access and early access. Thankfully we actaully went to the park a few days before in the afternoon to pick up our tickets as we had wanted to check into hotel early and go straight to early Harry Potter opening. Thank goodness we weren't attempting to pick out tickets up before the early entry because it would have been a morning completely wasted. The queue for the ticket office at 7.30am on the morning we were there was even longer than it had been when we picked up our tickets. There were lots of very angry people who basically realised that they had just got up super early and weren't going to get in the park when the gates open.
Hopefully they will sort this out. In future I will pay a couple of pinds etc and get the actual tickets. I realise this probably doesn't help for AP's.

You don't need your AP until check out, but as mentioned you can queue quite awhile at the parks if you go for early entry.

Thanks, I have an email confirming AP and the other two tickets arrived today - we fly on Sunday, so it was cutting it fine.

We have booked Royal Pacific for three days, so we may pop up before checking in and sort out the AP when it is quieter.

Thanks
