Universal and Local Hotels Partnering...

I read a post on UniversalExcitement.com about Universal partnering with several local hotels to promote a "value" vacation option for Universal. It listed a few of the Hotels, and benifits such as 15% dining, ect..ect.. I was wondering if any of the "Uni-Brains" from this wonderful section of the DIS knows if this will include the express pass option that goes along with the "on-site" hotels.

Unless Universal has very recently changed their policy and I am not aware of it, the only hotels that get the coveted Unlimited Express benefits are the three on-site hotels; Royal Pacific, Hard Rock and the Portofino.

you can book on site and get the perks.

or you can book one of quite a few off site motels/hotels thru un. vacations and get a package. the package includes park tickets and room that is off site.

you do NOT get the fotl perks or pool privledges with the off site packages.
if you do not get the 411 you are looking for on line from the universal site, you can call universal vacations and they wil spend a lot of time with you explaining and answering your questions.

i stay on site as the perks and no transportation is a priority with me.

I was just curious, as we are doing a split stay between Royal Pacific Resort and the Embassy Suites..So we can enjoy a few days of the On-site perks. The Embassy is listed as one of the Hotels under their new agreement. It's hard to stay on-site the whole week with a party of 6... 2 on-site rooms is a wallet killer!!!
