Universal Amersuite

Hi everyone
This is the first time I've posted on this board so I hope I'm not too boring asking the same old questions.
Can anyone tell me what the Amerisuites is like on international drive by universal please. We have a reservation for later this month and haven't seen anything about this hotel on this board.
Also if I buy universal flexi ticket on line on universal site to collect when we arrive in orlando are we getting a good, bad or middling type of deal. Will appreciate advice .

We stayed at the Amerisuites last year. Our room was a little small but nice and clean. Our window faced Universal and Islands of Adventure and we could see it a little bit (and the fireworks). There was a little mini kitchen with coffee pot, microwave, frig, dishes. The pool was small. The free breakfast was pretty good--homemade waffles (which you make yourself) with all the toppings was a favorite. There's a Cracker Barrel and TGI Fridays within walking distance. It is possible to walk to the parks, but there's one major road to cross--a little frightening. A shuttle does take you to the parks. We are staying at the Portofino Bay this year. Have fun!
