Hello Folks! I will be spending the day at Universal and Islands of Adventure in about 2 weeks. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and have a hard time standing for long periods of time (i.e., waiting in a long queues). Disney had the Guest Assistance Card in the past. Does Universal currently have anything like this for guests with disabilities. My mom has MS and in the past (late 90's) we used to get a pass that would allow us to basically go through the exits and load onto the rides there. I HIGHLY doubt there is anything like that now. Has anyone dealt with Universal and people with mobility issues? I called guest services and they said I would have to talk to someone once I get to the park. What have been your experiences in the past? For instance, is there somewhere I can sit to wait to ride something rather than going through a queue?

All theme parks have recently changed. Universal has a card that if you get it you will be given a return time minus I believe 30 minutes. That is if the wait time is more then 30 minutes. When the return time is up you return to the express pass area. I'm not 100% sure how they handle the passes at the HP attractions or other attractions with no EP entrance. The thing is no one here will be able to say if you will get a pass or not. If you need a seat the go to is to suggest your rent a wheelchair or ECV as the passes do not guarentee you somewhere to sit and rest.

I used the pass in feb
Mobility issues

Poster above me explained the assistance card very well

If a ride wait is posted at 29 minutes, you will use the express line

If the person can not stand for a lengthy time, rent a wc

Ride lines will accommodate wc

Potter rides:
Show the assistance card to the TM at the entrance of the ride line
They will assist you to go past the regular line for the ride
