Hi!
We are going to Islands of Adventure the week before Christmas, which I know will be swamped. I am not familiar with their "fastpass" system, and heard something about showing your hotel room key for quicker access to the rides???

Can someone please tell me how their system works? Is it worth it to stay in one of their hotels for this benefit? If you do have a room key, does it work for everyone in your party?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!!
Take care!!

I would definitely recommend staying on property. You can purchase a Universal Express Plus at the park but that would be about $35 for each person and would only be for that specific park and day.

The RPH is not very expensive, its beautiful and you'd be so close.
I would say that if you're going to book it, do it soon cause Christmas will be a very busy time.

Everyone in your party will need their own key. When you register at one of the Universal hotels they give a key to everyone staying in your room.
The onsite benefit of express access is priceless. Also, it's so convenient to get back and forth to the parks.

You can usually get RPR for about $110/night and HRH for about $125. Can't beat it.

You will love staying on site. The resorts are wonderful!
