In case anyone is looking, my return flight to IAD on United dropped today to $112 before taxes. Earlier this week it was $147. Last year I paid $99 for this flight.(it never went down, only up) It's more than Air Tran, but I wanted to have a better chance of the flight staying late (lv 6:52pm), so I booked it this morning. 
I gave up on waiting for the FD over Columbus day. I'll enjoy my FD from the BB a week earlier.
