Do all United planes now have the in head rest tvs, where kids can watch tv channels? How much is that service? Does it accomodate regular headphone type jacks (we'd want to bring our own noise reduction ones)

Anyone flown from west coast over to MCO? Was there a meal on board for free, or only for sale? Can't figure that out from their website! If so, do you remember what it was?

Thanks!

Call united for questions on your particular flights.

From UAL's website

Economic travel and long-range comfort finally come together with United Economy class seating. This class features a fully adjustable head rest and plenty of entertainment options. On our 3 cabin international 777's and 767's an individual audio/video system in the forward seat back lets you choose from nine channels of movie and TV programming, and up to 21 channels of CD-quality music and news through a comfortable adjusting headset (not on 747-400 or US domestic aircraft). A video Airshow® flight map on international aircraft traces the flight in progress, allowing you to monitor your travel in real time. In addition to the free audio programming offered on all United flights, all (except 737) offer free video programming.

For meals go under planning travel, click time tables, enter your dates and times, pick your flight and click info.

I've only been on a couple of United flights with personal video screens in economy, and those were wide-body aircraft. (I don't recall if they were 747, 767, or 777 aircraft.) I only fly United a few times each year, but I've never seen personal video screens on domestic United flights on single-aisle aircraft (737, 757, A319, or A320). Usually, there's video screen hanging from the ceiling above the center aisle every 5 or 6 rows.

Airlines have cut way back on meal service in domestic economy. According to United's website, the only domestic economy flights with complimentary meals are coast-to-coast flights and Hawaii flights to/from Chicago and Denver. Although I would consider LAX-MCO to be "coast-to-coast," I would recommend calling United to see it they really provide complimentary meals on this route that primarily serves leisure travelers.
