Hello all,

Not sure if this is the best spot for this post or not, so apologies if I'm off.

Next August, for the first time, I'll be doing Disney with a baby. Will be just shy of 8 months old at the time. Looking for unique experiences or things to do with a baby.

I want to know about the things that people wouldn't typically know about already. For example, I don't need to know about meeting characters. Everyone knows that. Looking for things that may be more unknown. We already plan to get our baby's first haircut at the barber in magic kingdom. Want to hear about similarly awesome and unique things people wouldn't necessarily know about. Thanks

On our first trip to Disney with our 2 kids, we had their silhouettes done on Main Street. It was quick, inexpensive, and easy to carry/pack. 30 years and 17 trips later, I have 17 framed silhouettes on my Disney wall. Wonderful memories and a wonderful way to display their growth over 3 decades.

Tips: Ask the artist to sign and date the card. They've all been thrilled to be asked.
There's also an artist at Disney Springs.
The price includes 2 silhouettes, mirror images. The extra is a handy Christmas gift for grandma.
I've never bought their frames. Better selection and prices back home.

I'd also recommend, somewhat in line with what EsseG said, pick a spot that you can visit time after time to show growth. The castle is a natural spot but be on the lookout for unique spots. ( Cinderella's Wishing Well, Cinderella's statue, by the Adventureland entrance - just to name a few off the top of my head ).

Great idea!!! Piggybacking off of that, how about a caricature with the baby in a Disney character costume. We have one of my daughter when she was 2 in an Elena of Avalor costume?

This, definitely this! Find a cool spot, and take your child's picture there on every trip.

Another one - visit the kid's tables in Epcot. If your baby's name has a typical version in other languages (like John is Jóhannes or Giovanni or...) ask the CMs to sign it on something (like a photo mat) in their home language.
