Unique Gift Ideas?

We are leaving on Saturday and I am hoping to do some "special" Christmas gift-buying while in the World. I am planning to look for non-Disney merchandise as well as those - couldn't pass up yes I just got back from Disney, and you are going to get a gift that shows that! I was hoping that some of you might post some of your best ideas for the non-Disney merchandise.

I'm thinking I should have a lot of luck in WS at Epcot, and also am thinking that the store in AKL (where we are staying) may have some "unique" items. Any specifics you would recommend? I recall some post in the past about a perfume in ??Norway?? I would be looking for ideas for various people - male and female, young and old. THANKS!

Not sure about in the parks, but the Premier Outlet Mall has AMAZING stores - including really upscale designer stuff at dramatically discounted rates. You might want to check that out as well!

Non-Disney merchandise onsite??

Definitely WS is the best. I particularly LOVE the UK stores. Definitely go to the Japanese store and pick up some of the treats and candy, they could make excellent stocking stuffers. I am a pocky stick fan myself!!

For some of the younger people in your crowd they may enjoy many surf wear brands. There is a store in Adventureland (across from the TreeHouse) and also the Typhoon Lagoon store has some great "surf" related merchandise, brand names of bathing suits, clothing, shoes, etc. I have also found some really GREAT deals at the Typhoon Lagoon store, items on CLEARANCE!!!!!

In DTD there is a really nice soap shop maybe for some of the ladies on your list. Younger kids may love some toys from the Lego Store or the Once Upon a Toy store both at DTD.

If anyone is an old movie buff, there are stores at MGM that sell old movie posters. Star Wars fans can find merchandise both at MGM near Star Tours and in Tomorrowland in MK.
