Floss our 20 month old Blue & White Border Collie ( also known as toe rag).

DH would love to have an Alaskan Malamute and has the name Nahnook ready.

My schih tzu is named Aubriee's Little Miss Maggie after my GD (Maggie for short and to differentiate her from my GD--but I usually call her Magpie) and my Akita is named Logan's Sir Niko after my GS (Niko for short). Everyone who meets them says the names fit perfectly. My macaw parrot's name is Jonah.

My younger son has two Shelties named Dwayne and Paige after my D-I-L's neice and nephew's middle names. My elder son has a black and a chocolate lab named Ebo and Cocoa respectively.

I used to have two Rottwielers named Mai Tai Bear (Tai for short) and Keno's Little Bit (Little Bit for short).

Our over rambunctious (sp?) Belgian Sheep Dog's name is Opheilia - Ophie for short.

"Boss Hog" is my yellow lab -- he was the biggest in the litter and very white. Luckily, his disposition is far sweeter than his namesake!

We have a chocolate lab, named Keebler.

My husband named our little black chihuahua Cujo. It never fails whenever I take him to the vet someone will look at him and ask "Is this Cujo??" and then laugh and say I was expecting a BIG dog .

I had two boxers, Cleopatra (Cleo for short) and Killian. I thought about naming Killy, Chaos, but didn't want him to live up to his name.

My niece's guinea pig is named Elephant!

Funny about living up to their names... our black lab, who is almost 3, full name is "Hairy Houdini". When we went to see him@ the breeder's place before we bought him... he was able to escape his penned area. We use to have just a wire fence in our backyard... but this summer, we had to but up a 6-foot wooden one all the way around our house as Houdi actually figured out how to CLIMB the fence!!!!
We are now looking at a Boston Terrier to add to the family and want to call him "DOMINO" )
