Does anyone know of souvenirs that are available exclusively at the World? (ie Something I couldn't get at Walmart or online?)

For example refillable mugs..
Anything else?

I think the dated WDW photo albums are really nice. If you get the chance, go to World of Disney at DTD. You'll be amazed at all the unique Disney things. If you have children the Fill Your Own Mr. Potato Head box with all the Disney pieces is soooo neat. You can do this at Once Upon a Toy Store at DTD. Have fun!!

The Mickey Bear!!! I really want one now!! I've seen pics of them in several disers signatures, but where do you buy them?? I assume it's at DTD.

You can buy ornaments and have them personalized at DTD days of christmas store. I get one with the date of the trip every year. You can also have one made for each of your children with there names date or whatever you like.

Once upon a toy has the mickey Bears also known as "The Disney Bear" theirs a cute story behind it as well that comes on the tag-- i Dont remeber excatly how it goes but its truly disney magic. My favorite bear is the Baby bear.

There is a ton of merchandise that is only available at Disney World, as opposed to WalMart. For example: items with the resort logos, items with the specific ride logos on them, items with the current year in them, etc. :) There really is something for everyone, when it comes to souvenirs at Disney World :)

One of my favorite unique souvenirs is movie memorobelia from Sid Cahuenga's at MGM. I know I've got a lobby card from a 1960s rerelease of Peter Pan for $5 and a pack of stationary that Walt Disney Pictures used when promotinh the release of Pocahontas for $2 or 3. Pieces of Disney history at very reasonable prices. Can't find that at Wal Mart. ;)

I have heard of a monorail magnet that actually speaks part of the spiel from the monorail, I couldnt find it when I went in March but I am going to look again in Aug

I got the monorail magnet last year and we 'hit the button' often when passing the frig! :wave2:

Is there anyway to order unique items from the parks --- from home?

Our night of DTD shopping got all screwed up. TIA

If you know what you want to order, there is a Disney Merchadise number you can call to order things from the parks. I don't have it handy now though.
Anyone have it?

Personally, I love Disney World mugs. I get ones that say Disney World or that have the logo for that year or ride specific ones ect....besides mugs though there is SO MUCH MORE than you can find at Wal-Mart!!! Just wait......You'll see...... :rotfl:

The best souvenir I brought home though was my Wishes CD. I LOVE it and listen to it all the time. Takes me right back to the World!

You can go online where you make WDW reservations and there is a help section that you can select.

Just type in what you are looking for and they will send you an email telling you how to find the items you are looking for from any of the disney stores.

I used this when looking for an autograph book for a friend. :goodvibes

I love the Christma ornaments that are flat discs, especially the brown sketch on a beige backround, with a maroon ribbon, from the different resorts. I forget who makes those. I also like the flat disc ones that are dated. Never seen those except at WDW.

We saw those at Days of Christmas last year at DTD. Couldn't find them this year! They did have some cermaic ornaments with the resort names on them, weren't as nice though :sad2:

My favorite for myself was my Safari Hat from Animal Kingdom. Right at the exit of the Kilamanjaro Safari ride is a small kiosk selling various safari themed gear, including hats and children's outfits. The hat I bought has 5 pins on it that I never saw elsewhere.

Thanks for all the ideas. I will try to make it over to DTD. That seems to be where the souvenirs are at.

I will also keep my eyes open around the exits. Thanks
