Unique Characters -Are the ninja turtles still around?

I just found a picture of my oldest son at MGM with "April" and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This brings back memories....they were so popular. I haven't seen them since then (probably early 90's) Are they still around WDW? (I know my younger boys -7 & 9-would enjoy seeing them). For that matter my oldest would probably get a kick out of it too.

Got me thinking what other unique characters have come and gone at WDW? I'm sure some of the playhouse disney characters change -we saw Rolie Polie Olie a few years back-but I'm sure the preschoolers in my class don't even know who that is?

I have not seen them. I wish they were still there my Nephew would love to see them.

It would be cool to see the TMNT again. They have had a resurgence in popularity over the last few years--believe me, we sell a lot of TMNT toys at Target! The Power Rangers have made a comeback, so maybe the Turtles will, too, who knows?

DISer Meeko used to have a website which had photos of the long-gone characters - how I loved looking at all the characters I know I will never meet!

Ninja Turtles have been gone for a long time. Power Rangers are the popular fighting characters right now. Roger Rabbit is a character who's been gone for quite awhile. And the Doug characters are long gone, too.

There are many many more, just can't think of any right now!

I had forgot about Doug..we saw him a while back...also Roger Rabbit. We will definitely try to see the Power Rangers and Kim Possible/Ron Stoppable.

I remember the characters from when I was little..some if I recall, like the three little pigs, had really big heads and little bodies.
