While I really do LOVE the names Hunter and Chase, they are not so unique in our area.... lots of Hunters and Chases! :)

My son is named Henry. I LOVE his name and have yet to come across one in real life.

Funny that Carson and Carter are mentioned. My friend has twin boys and that's their names!!

Although I didn't go with anything remotely unique ;) how about Dillon, Graelam, Ryder or Cian (DH is the boring one, not me)

Henry is popular here! There were two in my DD's pre-K class of 17! We also have two family friends DS's named Henry. It also seems to be a popular middle name as we know several including our godson.

Henry is soon going to be a Jacob. Popular here too.

Atticus
Tennyson
Coleridge

all great literary names!

My DS is Aaron Mitchell. I know, nothing unique. However, I am really like Cooper. I told my DD's one has to have a son named Cooper. Anyone want to guess our last name? :confused3
Other names:
Garrett
Shannon
Wade

We have Davis Grier and Robert Lucas "Luke" both boys are in large schools and are the only Davis and Luke there!

Skyler (boy or girl)
Hank
Jackson (Jack)

A friend of mine named her son Blue.

wow...names and the evolution of all of them different and/or unique...

When I was a teen (some 40 years ago) I remember a friend's mom naming their daughters Megan and Kaitlyn...wow, those I thought were just so different and so unique and soon after every little girl WAS Megan or Kaitlyn...

Fastforward: I opened this Thread at my ripe old age of 52yo to see what the latest new unique names are out there.

As far as my DS' 24yo Christopher Brett and DS 20yo Michael Patrick....both very simple/easy to write/easy to say and yet I absolutely  the names...AND just so funny as my two went through school...many of their friends would have a bro Chris or a bro Mike... :teeth: Two first names that I think I will continue to see for a long time.

I actually cannot think of any at this hour but it's so very funny to see what is common and uncommon based on area! SO MANY of these are really popular around here or at least not so uncommon that they are considered unique. It amazes me.

Benjamin ( thas DS name  )
Quinn
Ford
Elias
Sam
Max

These were all names in therunning for our son

When we had our DS, we threw around names like Holden, Everett, Cain, Alister, Elijah.....

We settled on Peter Jacob (Peter is my DS's name), but call him PJ.

Honestly, DS has been in several gym classes since he was born and now preschool and we haven't met another Peter OR a PJ. Peter, while once common, is quickly becoming uncommon (though not necessarily unique).

We have "Alden Hunter". Never heard either name used commonly -- that is until he was born. Then, I found even girls named Hunter. And on TV - an "Alden" who won a spelling bee contest.
