Hi! I'm getting married at Universal (Margaritaville, Citywalk), and then Dismooning after two days at their parks. I thought I'd try a new twist on the Minnie Bride ears for when we are at Universal....

What'cha think? Throw a veil on it, and I'm a Uni-Bride!

They have Shrek ears too. I'm thinking for my Groom, doing like Lurky-Loo did and place them in a groom baseball cap, like she did the Micky ears.

Who knows, maybe we'll get some Mummy Dust!

I met someone at Disney who had a Universal Studios Hollywood Wedding and she had storm troopers as guests because Disney would not let her have a wedding at Haunted Mansion.

Thanks! I wanted to be a Dis-Bride, and get married at Shades of Green, but we had such a wonderful time at Margaritaville last summer, that my DF suggested we get married there...and the rest is history! I'm still going to get my Disney Honeymoon though!

We are having a very small (me, DF & two DSs) ceremony on their upper deck, and then having lunch afterwards and then hitting the parks!

After we wear the boys out, we're going to go to BICE for a romantic dinner and stay the night at the Portofino Bay Resort on site....then the next day the kiddo's go home, and we start our Disneymoon!

Ok so I have to admit...

I had seriously considered postponing the wedding till 2010 to see if I could get married in Hogwarts castle once Harry Potter is open!

I had seriously considered postponing the wedding till 2010 to see if I could get married in Hogwarts castle once Harry Potter is open!

That's too funny! But you know what? One person's Cinderella's Castle, is another's Hogwarts! My DF likes Disney, but he's not over-the-moon about it like I am...so we decided since it's going to be such a small, informal ceremony, to just do it somewhere fun, and have a family "party".

We'll have plenty of romance after the boys fly home!
