I agree, it needs to stop. There are plenty of politicians, from both parties, who I either disagree with or do not like, but I certainly don’t wish any harm to come to them. I don’t know when people decided that if you don’t agree with them about something that you don’t deserve to live, but it needs to stop. Let’s just agree to disagree and move on like civilized human beings.

It's been going on for a long time (Lincoln and John Wilkes Booth for instance). There are always radical idealogues who are kind of beyond the normal that see themselves as some sort of savior.

Yes there are far flung examples of lunacy but the relentless barrage we have seen since 2016 has gone from WTH to incitement.

Right now the hate regularly unleashed without any regard for human life for both the people in office AND the law enforcement attempting to keep people safe is just beyond what is even remotely acceptable. Time to start round people up and prosecute them for what they say and espouse, if you are calling for assassination or threatening it is time for an arrest and mental health evaluation.

If a business owns a platform where this is happening that they are making money off discourse it is their responsibility to shoulder the responsibility for keeping track with certain words and phrases.

Every one of these kooks has a long history of rants, they just don't pop up out of the cabbage patch this way.

OP you are SO correct! The hate needs to stop! No matter what! But you will see that even on this post there will be snide little comments from people who just have to push a point or narrative instead of just SIMPLY saying,,,”you are right, we can all as a society do better”.

I for one, am going to keep it simple. Hate needs to stop…period.

Yes, it's time for all this hate mongering to stop, which leads to these events.
When things divide our country, these hate things happen.
It's time for all Americans to get together and stop this nonsense. We can all support whom we want to without all this stirred up hate.
