Staying at the Radisson Celebration over spring break and was wondering if, on average, the typical outdoor unheated pools have warmed up enough so my 2.5 year olds lips aren't blue after 15 minutes :scared1:

TIA

Hi George in Cleveland (welcome to the Dis) I'm a Clevelander too.
My parents own a vacation home in Orlando, when we visit in April it is usually still necessary to have the heat on in the pool. It does depend how much sun falls on it and the weather of course.
Have a great trip!

George, is this the hotel?
Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration on Parkway Blvd in Kissimmee

If it is, the "Services" section on the homepage says: "The unparalleled pool facilities of this Orlando vacation hotel boast a huge free-formed pool with cascading waterfalls, two whirlpools, a children's wading pool, heated mid-sized pool and a 40-foot waterslide that winds around a rocky hill."

So, there's a "mid-sized" pool that's heated. Look for that one, if the main pool and the shallow children's wading pool are both not warm enough for your little ones. :)

Most likely not, our pool doesn't get warm until late May, although we do have a screen. It just depends how hot the days have been leading up to your arrival

I've stayed at that hotel and it seems like the pools are pretty out in the open, exposed to the sun which extends the swimming season. Still, I would hope they turn on the heat for you. :scared1:

kids will swim regardless - so just make them come out occasionally to warn up.
