Mickeycrazy said:I'm also addicted to Disney, however, its more difficult for me. I am a widowed father of 3 small kids. We've gone to WDW twice since my wife passed in July 2003. I love that I can give my kids memories of such a wonderful place. My family thinks I'm odd. We just got back in February, and already have plans for next January.
I know people who go to Vegas every year, or skiing at Tahoe, Nag's Head, whtever. That's okay, but for a guy to want to go to Disney every year, they think I have a screw loose.
I think they may have a screw loose, there is nothing wrong with a Disney addiction.

The other day my mother called (my parents love Disney too) and she said she was sick of the cold weather so let's go to Disney in a few weeks. You don't need to ask me twice. We got rooms and hotel books immediately and now we are on our way.

Love that about DH. I want to go every year but I won't drag DH every year if he doesn't enjoy it so this year the trip was just me and the kids and we had a great time and DH enjoyed his quiet time.
Everytime I find some free time, I go onto this board and get all excited and giddy, because I know I am going to disney world at some point. People ask me why go there all the time? WHY!? I ask them, "have you been there?" When they reply "no". I tell them, you are missing a great trip and leave it at that. My DH, DM, DMIL leave the planning up to me. Just fine with me, I get all excited just planning everything.
