Soarin' is different since the park has been around for a couple of decades by now, but in the 80s and early 90s, they were extremly concerned by marketing the park and showing that it was expanding since it had gotten a lot of bad press for not having enough attractions (If I can recall, it opened with just 5 rides and less than a dozen theater shows). For the past 10 or so years though, they're primarily modernizing the pavillions they already have by adding new thrills (Test Track, Soarin', Mission: SPACE) or changing the theme to something today's audeince can replate more to (Nemo at the Living Seas, Ellen at Universe of Energy, etc.)
