Unexpected Trip to Disneyland. What DVC Benefits???

I had a bit of a turn up in news today. I'm going to a conference in November that will be held at the Disneyland Hotel. I'll be there for a week! What DVC member benefits should I be on the lookout for? I never paid much attention to DL and DVC discounts, but this has me taking notice! Any advice anyone could offer would be most appreciated.

If you use your Disney credit card you get a discount (I think 15%) at Granvilles Steakhouse in the Disneyland Hotel. We ate there at the beginning of summer, it was very good.

There are a number of perks you can use at DL. You need to show your blue membership card.

Now I need to look into park tickets. I think I will book an early flight on the Sunday before the conference so that I can take advantage of going to the park.

I thought I read somewhere the DVC members could get a discount on a DL Annual Pass. If so, you might compare the price with a multi-day pass as the AP might have more discounts associated with it.

Also, I highly recommend making a reservation to eat at the Blue Bayou!

As mentioned, the savings on Annual passes is $20.

Deluxe regular $209.00, DVC price $189.00
Premium regular $329.00, DVC price $309.00

The deluxe AP has blockout dates. In November the only blockout dates are the Thurs-Fri-Sat of Thanksgiving week.
