I just had a La Cava Tequila Experience cancelled for next week, and the CM I spoke with said I'll be receiving an eGC of $25 for each person on the reservation to the email associated with my MDE.

Glad they are giving you the gift card for that cancellation. Those in this thread though had no contact from anybody. The gift cards just showed up in our email….
I just received one this morning. Only thing I can think of is that I corresponded with our guide yesterday (and purchased an add-on). Perhaps this was the free gift for a "tour".
I did get an email from my guide this weekend... but haven't been to WDW for over a month! Maybe it's because I haven't bought VDH yet. still on the fence and my guide knows it!

My wife missed a call from our guide and that evening received an E gift card. A few weeks later while sitting in Wilderness Lodge lobby waiting for our room my wife spent a half hour talking to the nice CM at the DVC booth and she took my wife's email and asked who our guide was. The next day another e gift card was sent to my wife. We wrote it off as a DVC sales tool.
I realize this thread was older and recently bumped - but yes, it is likely from your guide - I received a mysterious gift card with the “stay magical” graphic in email - that’s the DVC strap line and I confirmed it with my guide as an incentive to a recent purchase I was considering.
I got the $25 gift card emailed to me after speaking with a DVC rep for a few min in the GF lobby (not my guide), but we had a nice chat about sliders and buttons.
