I saw these just yesterday and they are so cute that all the little girls will want one I'm sure, but OUCH!! the price tag.
Disney has set up "Make Your Own Princess Crown" tables for little girls to design their own crowns, starting with choosing the fabric base (Velcro closure), adding Princess pictures, jewels, veil etc. The ouch comes at the end with the finished product
Base $10
Veil $4
EACH Jewel $3
EACH Princess $4
a few other things I can't remember, anyhow when things were all said and done, average price for a finished crown seemed to be around $25 - $30.

The tables are set up so the kids can reach them and "play" with all the parts, but every child pleaded for their parent to buy their special creation, very hard to say no to, so be prepared to pay if you let them play

Wow!! I'm glad I have a boy!! Although he can sure find expensive things sometimes...I think he has a radar for it!!

I saw them in the MK and at EP, but I think the best place was at the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney, less crowded than at the parks and if you have an annual pass you still get 10% off your purchases there.

They also have this at ASMO store. I also saw at the World of Disney store. My dd had so much fun putting her crown together. I guess it was worth it. Now she won't even touch it,because she doesn't want it to get messed up. princess:

Yes I am a victim. My daughter had to have one. We paid 33.00 for her crown thank god for the AP discount I get. We got ours in DL at the princess store "Once Upon a Princess" I think it's called. It is the place they do the Princess Storyteller Hour. My daughter also had to have the crown that flashes. That one was about 18.00 and we just recently used it when we went to see Princesses on ice.

Where would this be at? We have been to storytime with Belle at MK. Our princesses would enjoy this, as well as the crowns. I didn't think it was too bad having the tables in the parks, but to have one at the store of the resort we are staying at?!?!

In October, I noticed that the crowns were also sold at EPCOT in the gift shop at the entrance to the WS from FW. Lots of cute options to choose from...I remember thinking if only I was five again! :teeth:

They were also at Pop Century. Both at DTD and Pop, they were encouraging each little girl to make one. The CM at DTD told us to go ahead and make one, take it to the bench they have set up for pictures, take a picture and bring it back. We didn't even realize they were actually selling them, until we brought it back. Luckily, our granddaughter thought they were "loaning" it to her for the picture LOL!

In December, my DD did hers outside Restaurant Askerhaus while we were waiting to be called for the Storybook Princess breakfast. Now there was a hot spot!!!

We saw them in October when we were there. DD added the cost for one and decided she would rather have something else. (she was spending her Disney dollars that time!).

This is actually at Disneyland at the Princess Store (Used to be Tinkerbells Treasures). Everyday at around 10:30, 11:30 & 12:30 they have a princess tell her story (Usually Snow White, Cinderella & Belle). It's quite cute.

I don't think I'll be able to resist, Afterall, a little princess needs her crown princess: But do they have one to fit the princess's mommy? :hyper:

Thanks for the warning! Oh--I mean valuable tip (LOL!!)
We will be celebrating my DD's 5th b-day at the princess breakfast in Norway. At least I know and will be prepared.....I will suggest this as one of her birthday presents!:earsgirl:

Good thing my daughter is understanding enough not to ask further after we mentioned that we have no budget for it (DD is 5 yo)

Yet another thing I will have to save change for, we are taking my 3 nieces this year and of course all three will want one, so probably near $75-80 bucks for me.

princess: princess: princess:

oh well, you can't take it with you....:wave2: <----waving b(u)y to my money...

My 5 y/o DD saw them in October in Tinkerbells Treasures in MK. I told her we would get one later and then forgot. Well, she informed me today that we forgot about that crown and she was getting one when we return next month! I really didn't think she would remember but knew she would get one anyway once she saw them again.

Does anyone have any pictures of them? My friend want us to all have them for her birthday princess breakfast and well I would kinda like to see them before I get to invest the $$$...
