We did a Wonder cruise out of San Diego last week. Not only was it our first DCL cruise, it was our first cruise on any ship. The first night, we had dinner at Tiana's. I ordered a bottle of Skywalker chardonnay, but they said there were none available. I was a little upset, since it was on the wine list and it was the first night.

The next night, at Triton's, they said they had found some, and I purchased a bottle. Somehow, my initial displeasure made it to the Concierge Lounge, and they pulled aside a second bottle for my exclusive use the rest of the trip from 5pm-10pm happy hour. I didn't expect this, and it really made a good impression on me. I want to give a huge shout out to the Concierge crew on the Wonder.

Just one of the "Littlle things" that makes DCL worth the extra money in my opinion and why we love the Wonder.

That is so awesome to hear. We had a similar experience as well with a little pixie dust sprinkled our way with concierge. We were on the Dream this past December. I tried the Skywalker Pinot Noir for the first time in Palo and absolutely loved it. I told my sommelier in a fun matter of way and not in a complaining way that I wished they served this in the concierge lounge. I understand why they don't though, it is one expensive bottle of wine. The next morning in the lounge one of the hosts told me to make sure I was here in the lounge at happy hour and that there was a surprise for me I would enjoy. I showed up and the bar host showed me a bottle of Skywalker Pinot Noir and told me to enjoy it, compliments of Palo and the concierge team. It was perhaps the highlight of my cruise. I was so glad we had another dinner at Palo and had the opportunity to thank the sommelier in person.
