UnDISCOVERed Future World Tour Questions

I will be taking the Undiscovered Future World and had a few questions:

1. What do we do with personal belongings (i.e. backpacks, etc.) that are not allowed on the tour?
2. Are we allowed to bring cameras, but just not allowed to use them in the backstage areas?
3. Does the tour generally run over four hours or is it exactly four hours?

I am trying to plan the rest of the day in terms of dining reservations for a late lunch and my Fastpass+ selections. Thanks!

I've taken that tour twice. Backpacks and similar were fine to take along. Cameras are fine also, just no photos backstage. If carrying items, I would say to maybe use the lockers up front. And the tour, as all of the tours, are pretty close to the stated times, maybe 15 minutes either side. Enjoy the tour, it is another good one. Don;t forget the discounts...DVC, AP and Disney Visa, all 15%.

For sure bring your camera, we were allowed to take pictures in the onstage areas, and also in the lounges that we visited.

Edited to add: One guy did a photo of an Imagination ride vehicle back stage. The guide turned his microphone off and addressed him. The photo was deleted.
