I hate to sound like a spoil sport, but I took this tour in August, and it was the biggest disappointment of my trip. A large chunk of the tour consisted of areas where guests can freely explore themselves (House of Innoventions, looking at photos hanging in the old Pasta Piazza restaurant, etc.). I felt the tour was a commercial for the other tours and meeting facilities at Epcot. I felt like they just threw these little segments together until they had a four hour tour time.
I had heard others say that they got to go backstage at the Universe of Energy, but this wasn't part of my tour. With the exception of getting a look at the Illuminations barges, the backstage areas of the tour were pretty much just used as short cuts to other onstage areas.
I won't go into great detail about everything thing else on the tour because I don't want to spoil the good parts for you (although I do have an indepth review with spoilers that I can send to you if you really want to know). I'll just leave it at what I've said, and add that I do not think the tour in it's present form is worth the money.
