underwater pictures

I'm wondering if anyone knows if any particular underwater cameras work best at DC???? Thanks for any help

I've used both Fuji and Kodak disposables and they worked great!

If you have a digital camera, look for an underwater case. I got one for my canon for about 80 bucks and it looks awesome. I can still use my nice digital instead of a cheap disposable, and the photos turned out awesome.

If you are looking for new , get an Olympus 77o digital it goes down 33 ft!

The camera or the pics? I am looking for a way to take decent underwater pictures at DC and was actually looking at this camera. Is it this one: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/002-4358132-6450458?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Vivitar+6200w&Go.x=10&Go.y=7 ? Have you tried taking pics underwater? How do they look? I was actually thinking, as dpuck1998 suggested, getting a housing for my existing digicam, but soooo scared that housing will let water in and it’s a very pricey camera – wouldn’t be able to afford to buy one again.

If you go with the case, just get a good one. I was scared about putting mine underwater also, but I bought one from the manufacturer, Canon, and it fit perfect and was watertight.
