We used them on our 5/10 Western. Just a caution, when you use them for surface shots right after they have been in the water, you need to make sure there are no water droplets in front of the lens. A few of our photos came out with blurred areas...
I was just looking at these the other night at WalMart and wondered if there is much difference in the picture quality between the Fuji and the Kodak ones. Anyone use both on the same trip or different trips and have any comparison? I agree the Fuji ones are a good deal (the Kodak's were like 8.58 or something - almost $1.00 more) and I have $1.00 off coupons for them. I've used Fuji film off and on in the past and sometimes the quality is great and sometimes it's not. Just wondering about the difference. Thanks
I have only used Fugi film for over 5 years and have been very happy with the quality of the pictures. I haven't tried one of these before, but picked one up today.
I seem to remember from an earlier thread that there was a good consensus in favor of the Fugi... Some said that for the Blues, like the water and the sky, that Fugi can't be beat. I'll have to remember to get one before we cruise!
According to the professionals, Fuji is better for the greens and blues. Kodak is better for the reds and yellows. Personally, I always buy Fuji film. I love it. The underwater cameras Fuji manufactures should be good too.
Also - make sure it says 800 speed film on the box! There are two different types, both from Fuji and Kodak(not max either that's only 400), you want the better film, or the pics will be dark or blurry beyond belief.
