Understanding please...

[first trip]

Hi,
I need to tell people who will understand!!!
I just can't seem to get into the Christmas spirit, or planning for DD's 5th birthday (which I'm usually over excited about) because all I can think about it going to DLP in January

DH doesn't understand why I can't just get excited about things in the order they are coming up, but my Disney thoughts are just taking over all available brain space!

I understand completely! Its actually quite telling that I'm only happy when I'm at Disney or planning a trip to Disney! lmao

Completely understand.

Christmas 2008 and 2009, I didn't have any Christmas spirit on the run up to it. We had trips Jan 2009 and Jan 2010 booked and it was all I was interested in. I wasn't even really bothered about putting many decs up for Christmas, because all I wanted to do was plan and pack for our trip. And I did feel bad about my attitude as I have 2 kids, and they were also more Disney excited, and not really bothered about Father Christmas coming, because they were going to see him at Disney anyway

We had considered going to DLP actually for Christmas this year, but hubby couldn't get the time off. And this year he couldn't get early Jan off either, so we decided to have a trip in maybe April or May.

Well, things this year are so much different. I have been out and bought new baubles for my tree (Disney ones of course) I have been in my loft and started sorting through what I need in the way of Xmas paper/cards etc. And I have even made lists of food I want to buy for Christmas Day! I am really looking forward to Christmas this year.

So Yes, my hubby, my kids & I all understand

Oh, and have a FAB holiday.
