Understanding dates on Free Dining when it ends during your trip

Lets say I am checking in on October 2nd and leaving on the 9th. How would free dining work for my family? October 7th is the "cut off". Would we get free dining the entire stay, get free dining until the 7th or not be eligible at all? TIA!!

The only date that is relevant is your check-in date. If you check in during a promotion period, you will get free dining for your entire stay (3 nights up to 14 nights), no matter if some of those dates are outside the promotion period.

If your check-in date falls outside one of the promotion periods you are not eligible at all (unless you book two separate reservations, then check out and check back in during the promotion period - but that can be problematic as you would likely have to buy tickets with both reservations if you wanted to access the parks on both.)
