Undercovertourist.com still has "old" prices!

i went to undercovertourist.com when i heard about the price increase and toyed w/buying a no-expiry ticket for ds 9yo to use a few days on our upcoming trip and the rest to save for a future trip (see, he's turning 10 in feb, so i might as well lock him in at a cheaper price)... anyway, i chickened out and didn't make the purchase...

but then i slept on it for two nights and realized i should have bought the ticket and my logic makes sense... so, i went back to undercovertourist.com and repriced the same ticket... and the price was the same! i thought it would have increased today ('cause today's the day wdw raised their rates) and it didn't! i was quite glad and made the purchase!

If previous price changes are any indication, the online brokers will continue to have tickets at the "old" price, until they run out of their "old" inventory. Be forewarned, though, that the online brokers may or may not have inventory control on their sales websites, so they may be selling tickets which they don't have inventory for, and of course now will be unable to obtain more inventory. There are sometimes some patrons who are called by their chosen ticket broker, who apologizes for not being able to fulfill their order. Be prepared, just in case.

thanks for the head's up... if they run out before they can fill my order, i'll get over it and probably just buy him what we need for the upcoming trip and not add'l tix for the future... which is okay too...

Undercover Tourist has posted a message on the boards promising that if they take an order they will honor it. (Presumably, either they have inventory control linked to their website, or they'll just eat the loss if they oversell.)
