Hello,
I'm planning a Disney trip in October and we'll be going over to IOA and USO during this trip. I'm ready to purchase my tickets and I was looking for the best price. I'm interested in the 2-day base ticket as it seems to be the cheapest option and we won't be hopping parks in the same day. From pricing it out online it looks like Undercover Tourist is $9 cheaper than buying directly from the USO website. We also wanted to purchase one day of the xpress pass but I think that the USO website is the only place to purchase these tickets.

It's only $9 savings so I wanted to know if there were any negatives to purchasing the park tickets from Undercover Tourist and the xpress pass from USO? Does anyone know of any other options that would be cheaper?

Thanks

I don't know of any negative that would go along with buying your tickets from UT and your Xpress Pass from USO. But have you considered booking one night at one of Universal's onsite hotels instead of buying the Xpress Pass. I don't know what the pass costs per person per day for the time that you will be there, but if there are more than 2 people in your group, it might be cheaper to book the hotel room. Your hotel room includes unlimited FOTL access for your entire stay. It also places you closer to the parks and saves you the cost of parking those two days.

AND, there's always the possibility of a package discount or room-only discount that would make it even more affordable to stay at the Royal Pacific than to buy the Xpress Passes.

Thanks for the response.

I did look into booking onsite for one night, but taking everything into consideration it was over $100 more than just buying the tickets. It might be worth double checking, thanks for the tip.

If you're spending at least $100 on accommodations for that one night anyway, it would be worth it. You need to look at the total cost and not just the parts. My daughter was in Orlando last summer and they stayed at Royal Pacific for just the one night so that they could get into the parks earlier for Harry Potter and for the FOTL access the rest of the time. She said it was cheaper than staying offsite and buying the Xpress Passes for 4 of them.
