You can have the package tickets removed from your room card and use them at any time in the future. Then just use your UT tickets for park entrance and save the other set for a future trip.

Many people do this every year - especially AP owners. They then use the unused tickets to defray costs when renewing their AP the following year.

Another ringing endorsement! Used them last year and had no problems. They were shipped quickly. We stayed at OKW on rented points and had no problem adding them to our key cards after we checked in.

One more thing to add, someone mentioned them being paper tickets, so being careful not to lose them (or not have them with you). If I'm not mistaken, they are still replaceable if you know the encoded information on the back. So we always take a picture of the back of our tickets with our phones (and the camera). We keep a copy on our computer at home and have the copy in our phone on the off chance we would lose a ticket. You just show them the numbers and I think they issue you a new one.

That is true - we take the pictures as soon as they arrive in the mail. Lose (or forget) the tickets and you are covered.

Just buy new tickets with your package and save the UT tickets for a future trip. They will not expire if unused and you'll save the future price increase as well.

No catch...but one beware...they are paper tickets so as the commercial says "don't leave home without it!".

But, once there if staying on property you can add them to your card..

Just so there's no panic - they're not paper. They're made of Tyvek, a very durable plastic that's used to wrap houses. They don't rip in your pocket, or disintegrate in the wash.

And if by some chance you do forget them, and haven't taken a picture, call UT and they'll have a record of the ticket numbers.
