Undercover Tourist tickets

We plan to purchase 10 day tickets through Undercover Tourist to save some money. I have used them in the past and know I can link them to MDE. However, I assume I can still use genie and lightning lane with them? Also, has anyone needed to use their cancellation policy. It sounds pretty forgiving.

Genie and lightning lane will be purchasable day of any park reservation you have.

Don't know Undercover's cancellation policy, but once you have the Disney tickets, those can roll over themselves if you haven't used the ticket yet through Disney.
