Undercover tourist tickets

...I’m not sure why anyone would buy tickets from Disney unless it was to secure another, larger discount (which is rare).
I have one major concern when buying from any 3rd party. If the tickets have any issue, guest relations at the park cannot help you.

To me, it would be worth the peace of mind to spend a little extra and purchase directly from Disney.

so when I go to order the price is one thing until I put in the dates I want to use it- then it is 500 more? is putting the date in necessary? aren't the tickets good for 14 days from first use- not for when you "want to use them"?

Disney has a new ticket structure and you must choose first day of use, Yes, once used, you have X amount of days to use them up,

But, if you buy a ticket to start on a less expensive day and then try to use it, it won’t work. You'd have to go to guest relations and pay to have it fixed,,,which means, paying Disney prices. They do have ones that are not date specific but more,

I use UT all the time and never had an issue!

You can purchase the "flexible" option which allows you to start using the tickets any date before 12/31/2021. Those tickets are good for a 14-day window regardless of ticket length. However, that option can be a considerable upcharge.

If you purchase date-based tickets, be aware of the validity dates -- only 10 day tickets gets a full 14-day "use window." Shorter length tickets are valid for shorter length of time, usually 2-3 days more than the number of ticket days which allows you a non-park day or two during vacation.

Enjoy your vacation!

Like you, I opted to go ahead and purchase our tickets from UT because we saved about $500 compared to Disney's prices. I figured that I would go ahead and snag them up while they are still offering the old price point. The "last chance" on UT's website got me...LOL

I've used UT several times and love working with them. The only "issue" I've had is that once I purchased my tickets from a new computer, and it got flagged in their system. They sent me an e-mail asking me to call them to verify the purchase. Once I called them, they noted it in their system and everything was good-to-go. This really wasn't an "issue", rather a security measure that I do appreciate. But just something I wanted to call out in case it happens to you.

Have a great trip!
