Hello - can anybody confirm that the expiration date on the Universal Studio Florida tickets from Undercover Tourist is in the MM/DD/YYYY format?
I ordered 2-park 4 day PTP tickets (2 days +2 free promo) on January 4th, 2018 and the expiry date on the tickets is 12/04/18. I am really hoping that this is Dec.4, 2018 and not Apr. 12, 2018 since we are arriving May 12, 2018!!!!!!! The date listed at the top of the ticket is 12/05/17 (again was confused if this was Dec. 5/17 or May 12/17. At first I thought this had something to do with our May 12th arrival and maybe it was so close to the New Year then I ordered that they printed May 12, 2017 instead of 2018 in error.
I called UCT and they confirmed that the date at the top of the ticket is the transaction date that the tickets were printed for them (Dec 5, 2017) and had nothing to do with arrival/expiry. They also confirmed that the "Expires in full date" on the ticket and highlighted sticker attached to my mailing (12/04/18) is Dec.4th, 2018 but I am still freaking out a little!!
I'm terrified of arriving at the gates from out of country after purchasing these tickets and being denied entry because they are expired!
I know I'm probably freaking unnecessarily given UCT's good reputation, but now I can't even find that promo on their website to see if there was any fine print I may have missed. If someone who has booked tickets, with a date higher than the 12th day of a month, can PLEASE confirm that MM/DD/YYYY is correct I would be VERY grateful!! Hope this all makes sense.
