Undercover tourist tickets and FP+

Was just making my reservations for a August 2014 trip.. Customer service advised me to beware if I by my park tickets with Undercover Tourist. I have used them the past 5 years or so what's the buzz out there...any problems linking tickets bought there to MDE ?

Just got back from Marathon Weekend, using the UT tickets I purchased prior. I added them to my MDE site before leaving... No problems adding them or using them

I just linked two tickets from them this week, no problem. Also used them last fall during the test with no problem.

Issues are with really old tickets, older than four or five years.

I also bought tickets from Undercover Tourist and had no problems linking the tickets or making FP+ selections once they were linked.

for the last several trips we have used UT for our tickets. We have had no problems with them. Most recently, they send out RFID enabled tickets that are easy to link right to your account. I HIGHLY recommend using them!!

Undercovertourist is an authorized ticket seller. It sounds like you spoke to a misinformed CM

I invested part of my tax refund last year in UT tickets for the next few years before the price went up. I did have problems linking the tickets under MDE. When I called Disney, the call center people didn't seem to have any idea what was going on. When I called UT, they said it was a problem at the time linking any "paper" tickets, which would probably be fixed soon, but gave me the number of Disney IT who would be able to fix it for me. That was a couple of months ago, and has probably been fixed by now.

I didn't need to call Disney IT in the end because I found that the MDE app has the ability to scan the bar code or QR code on the tickets and I was able to link easily with that. So you should have no problems with your UT tickets.
